The Anglophone West African
Division of the International Academy of Pathology
was inaugurated on 14th July 2005 during the Annual
General Meeting and Scientific Conference of the
Association of Pathologists of Nigeria (ASSOPON) at
MUSON Centre Lagos, Nigeria.
The new Division was ratified by the IAP Council
during the recent IAP Centennial Celebration in
Montreal Canada.
Membership is drawn from the Anglophone West African
countries of Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia
and The Gambia.
Our mission is to advance the frontiers of Pathology
not only in West Africa but in the entire African
Continent and beyond. Will you join us?
